Karman Lock is an associate lawyer at DJO Family Law, practising exclusively in family law. Called to the bar in Ontario in 2011 and British Columbia in 2021, Karman has experience handling a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, parenting arrangements, child protection, child and spousal support, and property division.
She is dedicated to helping clients find fair, practical, and effective solutions tailored to their unique circumstances. Whether through negotiation, mediation, or litigation, Karman focuses on guiding clients toward resolution while protecting their rights and interests.
Before earning her law degree from Dalhousie University, Karman completed an undergraduate degree in neuroscience, which enriches her understanding of human behaviour – a valuable asset in resolving complex family disputes. As a mother of two young children, she brings empathy and insight to the emotional and financial challenges her clients face, prioritizing outcomes that support the well-being of families.
